Journaling the cards

A record that separates what you saw, what you hoped, and what you did.

A tarot journal is how you discover your own bias. Without it, every card confirms the mood you brought. With it, you can look back and see that the “omen” was often the action you were avoiding.

A template

  1. 1Date and the question, verbatim.
  2. 2Cards, positions, and whether you treated them as pressured.
  3. 3What you hoped they would say.
  4. 4What the pictures showed that was inconvenient.
  5. 5The action you will take in two days.
  6. 6A later line: what happened, including “nothing, and I did not do the action.”

Use the browser journal if it is safe, or paper. The field-journal page has a card line you can print. Do not publish other people’s readings. Their question was not content.
