Closed and living practices
Some knowledge is someone’s. Admiration is not a key.
A living community can tell you that its rites, languages, or objects are not souvenirs. Indigenous ceremonies, including those that use specific plant smoke in specific nations, initiatory witchcraft oaths, African diasporic religions with their own priests, and Jewish mystical practice are examples this library refuses to mine for parts.
What a guest does
- Uses the community’s own public page if one exists, and believes the limits printed there.
- Does not rename their rite with our vocabulary to make the theft feel original.
- Does not teach a weekend version.
- Makes an original household practice instead, which is what this entire site is for.
The Minoan Brotherhood’s public site explains that its mysteries are reserved. The Temple of Antinous has its own door. Hoodoo is not in our spell list under another name. If you belong to one of these traditions, nothing here replaces your teachers. If you do not, you are still welcome to a full practice: altar, year, cards, and care.
